Unable to update FW

Hello,

Customer has multiple T26P phones and is experiencing the 'autoanswering issue' as described in http://forum.yealink.com:81/forum/showth...hp?tid=634

Since this is resolved by a new firmware, I've tried to upload this to the phone. However, the update isn't applied. It seems to upload without any errors, reboots, but the existing fw remains the same.

The phone is currently running 6.70.13.3

The thread regarding this issue always seem to refer to 6.70.0.x instead of 6.70.13.x

Is there any specific difference between the models? What does the .13 or .0 represent? (country specific or whatever?)

Yealink VP530 Auto Provisioning DND

Hi,

I am currently provisioning a VP530.

On my final step at the moment.

Need to disable DND on the phone.

Could anyone please help me with which parameter I need to set to remove DND.

I have looked through the line keys and memory keys and can't seem to see any DND parameters set in any of them! =(

Yealink T42G and T46G VLAN DHCP

Hi,

I have found a issue where the phones are not getting the provisioning server from the DHCP server.

All previous Yealinks gain their DHCP network settings and the provisioning server once connected to our VLAN.

But I have noticed the Yealink T42G and T46G do not.

Has anyone tried this, or has a resolution for this.

I can't seem to find a firmware update to test either. =(

Yealink T20P Ringtone .wav Corruption?

Hi All,

We have had two clients where this issue has occured.

Issue:

A certain number of T20P phones with ring tone type 5 set, have had the ring tone change weirdly.

(Example client has 20 T20P phones, but only 4 will exhibit the issue.

We auto-provision configuration every evening, so if there was a configuration change. It would be reverted.)

Where no settings have changed at all.

(I have checked myself, compared a working T20 to one with the weird ringtone, and nothing is different)

What happens is the ringtone type 5 will play a weird sound and then go completely silent, and continue with this instead of the supposed ring tone.

When changing the ring tone to type 4, the phone rings correctly.

Can anyone verify this for me and does anyone have a solution for this?

It is almost as if the ring tone has been [undefined=undefined]corrupted[/undefined].

Feature Request - Send Calls to VM when DND

Is it possible to send calls straight to voicemail instead of only sending a 404, 480 or 486 return code to the caller when a phone has Do Not Disturb enabled?

If not, would Yealink consider adding this option in a future firmware upgrade?

One of our users is getting a stuttering tone on their phone during phone calls. This tone can be removed if I clear the call log. This is the only phone with this issue.

T22 Programmable Keys

Looking at the provisioning of some T22 phones. Would like to limit the programmable keys to only the ones I want displayed. Looking at this:

##########################################################################################
## Programmable Key ##
##########################################################################################
#X ranges from 1 to 15.
#programablekey.x.type--Customize the programmable key type.
#The valid types are:
#0-N/A 2-Forward 5-DND 6-Redial 7-Call Return 8-SMS 9-Direct Pickup 13-Spead Dial
#22-XML Group 23-Group Pickup 27-XML Browser 28-History 29-Directory 30-Menu 31-Switch Account 32-New SMS
#33-Status 40-PTT 43-Local Phonebook 44-Broadsoft Phonebook 45-Local Group 46-Broadsoft Group 47-XML Phonebook 50-Keypad Lock
#PTT-add a specified prefix number before the dialed number.
#programablekey.x.line--Configure the desired line to apply the key feature. It ranges from 0 to 6.
#The value 0 of the "proramablekey.x.line" stands for Auto, it means the first available line.
#But, when the programmable key is configured as Pick Up, the value 0 stands for line 1.

#programablekey.x.value =
#programablekey.x.xml_phonebook--Specify the desired remote phonebook/local group/BSFT phonebook for the programmable key. This parameter is only appilicable to the feature XML Group/Local Group/Broadsoft Group.
#programablekey.x.history_type =

#programablekey.x.label--This parameter is only available to the key 1 to key 4.

programablekey.1.type =
programablekey.1.line =
programablekey.1.value =
programablekey.1.xml_phonebook =
programablekey.1.history_type =
programablekey.1.label =

It would be nice to find out which programmable key corresponds to which actual button on the phone so I dont have to do the trial and error and backward engineer these. Any one already done the hard work?

W52 Claiming "Talking" when making web changes

I have two W52 DECT phones at different offices. Both handsets give "Line Busy" when attempting to dial. Both units claim to be registered with the provider. Both are reachable via the web interface. When I attempt to make a change in the interface, or reboot the base units, the web interface reports "Talking" try later. Once the base station is powered off and restarted, the problem goes away. Currently running:
Firmware Version 25.30.0.20
Hardware Version 25.1.0.0.0.0.0

Any ideas?

Error in MAC-oriented.cfg

I found an error in the file "MAC-oriented.cfg" that is provided in the file "AutoProvisoning-17095068456.zip" that is currently available in the official Yealink support site for Yealink T26P.

This file says :
<<
#Enable or disable to use the alert info URL; 0-Enabled (default), 1-Disabled;
account.1.alert_info_url_enable =
>>

According to my tests with Yealink T26P in firmware 6.70.0.140 :
- 0 = DISABLE the use of the alert info URL
- 1 = ENABLE the use of the alert info URL

In fact, it is much more logic that way !

Could someone from Yealink support team confirm the error and fix the comment in the file MAC-oriented.cfg ?

Alexis de Lattre

I was calling a T22P, firmware 7.70.0.150, phone with a softphone that supports sRTP. With sRTP set to optional the T22P does not ring. With sRTP set to disable the phone rings.

I have included the INVITE's for both cases.

T22p Stuck on Initializing

Hi,

I have a brand new T22p that worked for about 2 days and then suddenly ended up stuck at initializing please wait. I have downloaded the How to upgrade Yealink phone on recovery mode package and followed instructions. It works fine in as much as the phone connects to the TFTP server and downloads the renamed firmware but it end with upgrade failed, error 11. I've tried this a few times and I keep getting this.

Any ideas? Not a great start to a new brand of phone we are trying. Sad

Paging

We are using the latest firmware for this product.

When paging from asterisk, the handsets will connect randomly and inconsistently, and they will not all connect at once. Some of the issues include: the handset will not ring, but will pick up; the handset will ring, but then immediately issue a busy signal; the handset will neither ring nor pick up.

What can we do to fix this?

Ringdown

Is it possible to configure to Yealink phones to work as a private line ringdown or PLAR?

Id like for them to work in the manner demonstrated in this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfD4EGjrcFc

I have two extra phones and I'd like to set them up for my daughter and her friend that lives across the street. (They are just 2 years old and can't dial)

Thanks,
Paul

Network call logs

Is there any way to share network call logs without having an XSI server in place?

Alternatively, are there any implementations of the XSI server that are designed and priced for small-scale (home) use...or prererably open source implementations? I've browsed the Broadsoft site, and it seems that they are set up to be an enterprise-class vendor.
